Important Notice for Christmas Eve

Dear Members,

Please be aware that on Wednesday 24th December, Derbyshire Community Bank will be open from 9:00am until 1:00pm. If you need to withdraw any funds before the holiday period, please make sure to do so before 12:45pm. We will then reopen on Monday 29th December from 9:00am to 2:00pm.

Important Notice for New Years Eve 

Please be aware that on Wednesday 31st December, we will be open from 9:00am until 1:00pm. If you need to withdraw any funds before the new years eve/day, please make sure to do so before 12:45pm. We will then reopen on Friday 2nd January from 9:00am to 2:00pm.

Loan applications around Christmas may take longer due to the busy holiday period.

We’re working hard to review all loan applications, and it may take up to 5 working days to process each one. Sending multiple messages for updates won’t speed things up, so there’s no need to follow up while your application is being reviewed.

We’ve noticed some members submitting duplicate applications. To help us process everyone fairly and efficiently, please don’t reapply if you’ve already submitted your application.

Loan Application Dates for December – Apply early to avoid issues and consider saving a bit now to ease January expenses – you can also use our savings calculator 

• Existing members: Please apply by Wednesday 19th December

• New members: Please apply by Friday 12th December

After these dates, we cannot guarantee that your loan will be processed in time for Christmas due to the high volume of applications we receive.

To give yourself the best chance of having your loan reviewed and issued before Christmas, we strongly recommend submitting your application on or before the dates listed above.
