The highly successful BBC series ‘A Matter of Life and Debt’ is returning to our screens for series 2 on Monday 19th November 2018, every week day for two weeks at 11 am.
This uplifting and positive series highlights the important work carried out by credit unions up and down the country, as they help people find loans which enrich or change lives.
Episode 1 features Derbyshire Community Bank and the loan they agreed for Stella who runs her own business ‘Stella’s Kitchen Eyam’ offering home-cooked Afro-Caribbean food from her farmhouse in the beautiful Peak District Village of Eyam.
The second series will be split in two parts. The first of these will be broadcast Monday-Friday at 11 am on BBC One. It will run consecutively for two weeks with the second half of the series to be broadcast early next year.
The first series was the most popular show on TV for its time slot and attracted 25% of TV audiences (1.25 million people). Over the three weeks it was shown, over 48,000 users visited the ‘Find Your Credit Union‘ website and over 30,000 of the users found a credit union available to them.
This is a great opportunity to spread the word regarding Derbyshire Community Bank which operates across the whole of Derbyshire.
