Did you know that more than 500 people live in Mercia Marina? As well as a relaxing place to meet friends and walk in the countryside, the Marina is also home to many people who live on their barge, plus other boaters using the canal network and holiday makers.
We were delighted to be invited by South Derbyshire Community Voluntary Support (CVS) this week to join other organisations at a residents’ evening event. DCBank is for everyone, so it was great to explain what we do, how we can support residents who need extra help with saving and borrowing. Plus these events are a great opportunity for us to learn more about the many other partner organisations in our network and the amazing work they do.
