AGM 2024

A big thank you to all our Members who attended the Derbyshire Community Bank Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 20th March 2024. We voted on a few key decisions, here are the results:

What we agreed

1. We approved the minutes of the 2023 AGM
2. We accepted the audited accounts for the financial year ending 30th September 2023
3. Voted in favour of a 2% dividend on savings
4. Reappointed Alexander Sloan as our external auditors
5. Tanya Noon voted in as a director of DCBank
6. Pat Butler​ and Malcolm Wright re-elected for another 3 years on the board
7. Removing ‘Supervisory Committee’ from our rules.
8. The board authorised to appoint two further directors

The 2% dividend will be paid to Member’s savings over the next few days.

Thank you also to Ben Taylor from Derbyshire County Council for the presentation about the council’s project to promote savings and affordable loans with credit unions in Derbyshire, and the benefits of payroll saving. Ben’s presentation slidedeck is available to download here.
