Everyone who signs up for a discounted bus ticket before 30th September 2025 will be entered into a prize draw to win one month of free travel! Arriva and trentbarton are each giving one lucky passenger the chance to travel free for a whole month.
This is all part of a pilot running until 31st March 2026, supported by Travel Derbyshire, Derbyshire County Council, and government funding through the Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP).

The Derbyshire Wayfarer Bus ticket is a ticket valid on all buses in Derbyshire and can also be used to travel to a selection of neighbouring towns and cities. The 7-day ticket is available exclusively on smartcards and can be bought from the TravelMaster (www.sytravelmaster.com) website or app.

The ‘free’ 7-day Adult Derbyshire Wayfarer Bus ticket can only be redeemed via the TravelMaster app:

Each person who completes the survey will be provided with a coupon code for 100% of the value of a 7-day Adult Derbyshire Wayfarer Bus ticket. The coupon will be valid until 30 September 2025. To redeem the ticket you must have either a TravelMaster or Stagecoach smartcard. TravelMaster smartcards can be ordered from the app for £1.
